The Robert Watson Lofts at 363 Sorauren is one of the very few of Toronto's lofts that is an authentic hard loft. The building is over 100 years old and is named after an Irish immigrant who began a candy factory in the late 1800's. His successful business needed more space which is how this building came to be. There is also a newer addition of soft lofts at 369 Sorauren Avenue.
The interior displays 10' to 16' ceilings, wood columns and ceilings, exposed brick, and fantastic finishes. Natural light abounds with window walls of glass and exposed columns of concrete, while even more light can be enjoyed on the roof garden and landscaped courtyard. Bathrooms have large soaking tubs, full mirrors, and marble countertops, while the kitchens boast stainless appliances, granite counters, ceramic back-splashes, and up-to-date contemporary cabinets. This older structure blends well into one of Toronto's newest chic condo areas.
