This former Hydro building has been restored to offer the current Madison Avenue Lofts and is now very popular among Toronto's condos. There are 14 ft. ceilings on the 1st and 2nd floors, with some 12 ft. windows that have been preserved. The white painted exposed concrete ceilings with heights of 12 ft. are found on floors 3 and 4, while the 5th floor is 10 ft. tall followed by 11 ft. ceilings on the 6th.
The art-deco style has been further enhanced with exposed ducts, conduit, and columns leaving a traditional loft feel. Suites have oversized doors and there are also balconies and terraces, barn-style sliding doors, and laminate floors.
Amenities are many and include steam and video rooms, a lounge, and a party room with a kitchen. The suite kitchens are loaded with extras including under cabinet lighting, granite countertops, mosaic-style backsplashes, 9 ft. cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. The rooftop terrace with BBQs is also available to residents. There is even a view of Casa Loma from its rooftop deck (see photo to the right)!
