80 & 88 Charles St. E. were a 1950's hotel that was restored and renovated in the 1990's to become the popular Toronto condo of today. You'll love knowing the building you're in isn't just another dime-a-dozen modern condo building. It was once a haven for creative types in the 50's and 60's. Even Bob Dylan stayed here and wrote a song in this very building! Yorkville's past hippie culture was also known to frequent these rooms.
The current character and charm of this building resembles the style of the New York apartment life and is very near to the Church and Wellesley Village, and a quick jaunt to museums and galleries at Yonge and Bloor. While the people here may have changed over the decades, the energy of this neighbourhood remains very much alive!
